By accessing and using Care Connect and EduLense (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Use License

Leveraging AI to Uplift Humanity, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Services for their intended purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, or sell any portion of our Services without our prior written consent.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You agree not to use our Services for illegal, abusive, or malicious purposes. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with our Services.

4. Subscription and Billing

Both Care Connect and EduLense are available on a subscription basis at $20 per month. Billing occurs automatically on the same day each month. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, effective at the end of your current billing cycle.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAUH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for our Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. LAUH does not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Use of our Services is at your own risk.

7. AI Limitations and Medical Disclaimer (Care Connect)

Important: Care Connect includes AI-powered features and recommendations. Artificial intelligence systems can make mistakes, provide inaccurate information, or produce unexpected results. The AI chatbot and any information provided through Care Connect are not substitutes for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Users must inform healthcare professionals about their use of Care Connect and any AI-generated information or recommendations. You should always consult with qualified healthcare providers before making any medical decisions, changes to treatment, or relying on information provided by Care Connect's AI features. Healthcare professionals must review and approve all guidance before it is provided to patients.

LAUH is not responsible for any health outcomes, errors, or harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated information or recommendations provided through Care Connect.

8. AI Limitations and Educational Disclaimer (EduLense)

Important: EduLense includes AI-powered features for grading, assessment, and student interaction. Artificial intelligence systems can make mistakes, misinterpret submissions, or produce inaccurate evaluations. AI-generated grades and feedback are tools to assist educators but should not be relied upon as the sole basis for final grades or academic decisions.

Educators must review all AI-generated grades and feedback before providing them to students. Final grading decisions and academic assessments remain the sole responsibility of qualified instructors. Educators should exercise professional judgment and critical review of all AI outputs. Institutional policies, academic standards, and educator expertise must override AI recommendations when appropriate.

LAUH is not responsible for any academic outcomes, grading errors, or institutional consequences resulting from reliance on or use of AI-generated assessments or recommendations provided through EduLense.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including software, design, and documentation, are owned by LAUH or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use our intellectual property without authorization.

10. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to our Services. By uploading content, you grant LAUH a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, process, and display your content for the purpose of providing our Services.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with third-party platforms including Moodle and Google Classroom. We are not responsible for the policies, content, or services provided by these third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.

12. Suspension or Termination

LAUH reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or use our Services inappropriately. Upon termination, your access to our Services will be immediately revoked.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

LAUH may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
